Description
Late 19th century French dore and patinated bronze peacock calling card tray or tazza. Attributed to Eugene Cornu for G. Viot & Cie, Paris. Onyx platform on gilt bamboo form footed base. Ceramic Japanese-themed handpainted plate with openwork ormolu rim. Just over 12" high. Top measures 9-1/4" square. This item can be shipped in-house.
Condition
Good condition overall. Top is slightly loose, with about 1/4" of wiggle. Plate has some crazing.
