Original 2-1/4" square transparency of Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley, captured in 1994 by photographer Dick Zimmerman. This was the cover shot used by the National Enquirer, August 23, 1994. Zimmerman had worked with MJ on two other occasions, including the musical icon's "Thriller" album, and had also photographed Lisa Marie from the time she was a young child. He was the exclusive photographer for their photos announcing their wedding. Comes with a limited edition print of the piece (reversed), signed by ZImmerman and numbered 1/12. Print measures 25" x 24". Unframed. Provenance: Directly from the archives of celebrity photographer Dick Zimmerman. Throughout the 1970s-90s, Zimmerman captured most of the biggest entertainers on film: Michael Jackson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robin Williams, William Shatner, Christopher Reeve, Tom Selleck and many, many more. His best-known photographs are also among of the most widely distributed images in entertainment history: The Michael Jackson "Thriller" album photos.
