Description
Colt Single Action Army cavalry revolver with 2002 Colt and 1998 John A. Kopec letters. Kopec breaks down each mark on each part. He speculates that -- based on close serial numbers -- the possibility exists that the revolver served with the 6th Cavalry Regiment. Kopec believes the grips are probably later replacements and that the revolver "was slightly polished and re-blued at some time in the last [as] it appears to have a very old re-blued finish."
