One-of-a-kind original photograph of Babe Ruth, never published, with his arm around a man in a suit, as yet unidentified. Might have been taken at Donohue's Restaurant. (At first glace, it looks a bit like his agent, Christy Walsh.) Provenance: From the estate of Jimmy Donohue, owner of Donohue's Restaurant in Mountain View, N.J. Donohue became friends with Ruth in the 1920s and remained close with him until Ruth's death. Several items in today's sale came from this same estate. Just shy of 5" x 7".
