Extremely rare, possibly unique 1930s Hummel bookend, about which author Robert L. Miller wrote that "no known examples other than this half of set which was located in Goebel factory." Originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller. Has a paper label affixed to base with printed crown symbol and Goebel. Accompanying Hummel Archive Das Bumblebee Haus certificate affirms that this figure, "Bookend - Doll Mother" was never produced, but is an authentic M.I. Hummel figurine. Measures 4-7/8" x 3-1/8", 4-3/4" high. This item can be shipped in-house.
