Description
Nice piece of political history: An authentic, original doodle with words by John F. Kennedy as senator, on United States Senate stationery. JFK was a prolific doodler. This page is covered with some interesting elements: the nickname of President Eisenhower ("Ike") in a box, a series of shaded geometric shapes, a circled "Woodrow Wilson" and a math equation. A couple of other random sketches above and below, as well. Paper measures about 6-3/4" x 5-1/4". Unconditionally guaranteed to be authentic. Provenance: From the personal political papers of Congressman Michael J. Kirwan, personal friend of JFK's. Authentication further confirmed by Evelyn Lincoln, JFK's late secretary. Letter of authenticity written and signed by presidential historian, John Burke Jovich. This item can be shipped in-house.
