Rare sterling silver playing card case from the Corsair III, J.P. Morgan's steam yacht from 1898 to 1930. Inlaid into the lid is an enamel painting of Morgan's racing yacht, Columbia, racing against the Shamrock in the 1899 America's Cup. Item from private collection, obtained decades prior to the JP Morgan yacht auction in Boston in 2011. Silver box made by Henry Stuart Brown, London, 1898. (Includes two later card decks.) This item can be shipped in-house.

Fine. Back edge of lid near hinge is slightly bumped, not affecting hinge or lid closure. See images.
