Dated July 5, 1926, a check for $25 written and signed by ANNIE OAKLEY BUTLER, sharpshooter and star of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. Oakley lived only four months after she wrote this check to Irene Patterson, daughter of her half-sister, Emily. This is one of several of Annie Oakley's personal items from the Patterson family in today's auction. Provenance: Obtained directly from descendants. This item can be shipped in-house.
