Description
The importance of this Polaroid photograph of Michael Jackson can scarcely be overstated. This test image was captured by "Thriller" photographer Dick Zimmerman less than a minute before he shot the photograph that became the cover of the "Thriller" album. And it is the first image ever taken of MJ in the white suit (the suit, incidentally, belonged to the photographer himself). Prior to the advent of digital photography, Polaroids were the only practical way a photographer could preview a shot, then make any on-the-spot lighting or camera adjustments, or reposition the subject. This photo is by definition one-of-a-kind, not a print or reproduction. Professionally, archivally mounted and framed in a shadowbox, with an engraved plaque below. Comes with letter of authenticity from Dick Zimmerman, as well as a release of all copyrights. Please note: While the image conveys with copyright, personality rights may apply. This item can be shipped in-house.
